Our Club .

At CAMS we feel that the best way to enjoy our hobby is by belonging to an active organization that will nurture your desire to become a proficient pilot. We will train you in the basics of R/C flying and work with you to qualify for your R/C solo certificate. From there you can simply enjoy the freedom to fly your airplanes or learn to be an R/C superstar. It is all available at CAMS.


AMA sanctioned Club with a membership averaging 100 members we are one of the largest A.M.A. sanctioned clubs in the state of Idaho.


Team up with an experienced member and learn to fly your model the right and safe way. CAMS offers members and prospective members free lesson and learning opportunities.

Facilities .

Our facilities were built by the members of our club who have worked tirelessly over the years to make this the most significant club in North Idaho.


CAMS has a 550 foot by 42 foot paved runway, a grass (mowed field) crosswind runway, and a helipad.


Covered pits with tables, 8 flying stations & several starting stands. Club accommodates electric, glow & gasoline fixed wing & helicopter aircraft.


Field mowing throughout the summer months is contracted professionally. Volunteer members contribute to facility improvement and repairs. Annual cleanup is a fun event well attended by members.


Community activities and involvement is extremely important to CAMS and we invite all members, new and old, to support our club activities by joining in the fun.

Enjoy learning and flying with some great people that truly love this hobby. Life long friendships are made at the CAMS field along with the opportunity to introduce kids and kids at heart to a fun hobby.
